Here at the London Vendors Market, our mission from the beginning has always been to provide a clean, comfortable space for not only shoppers to spend their time, but also for our vendors to feel valued and successful. With owners coming from backgrounds in retail and having been vendors before, we wanted something different than anything else in this area. So, in early 2021, plans began to open a new vendors market, and on October 2nd 2021, the London Vendors Market opened in historic Carnaby Square in London, KY. With over 13,000 square feet and over 100 vendors, many of which restock daily, we pride ourselves on offering a unique shopping experience.

Meet our Owners

James Setser

James started his career working for a local family-owned business in London Ky; Lowes Sporting Goods.  At Lowes, James gained his first experience in providing excellent customer service and understanding how business functions.  This planted the seeds of owning his business one day.    James left there in 2001 and spent time at multiple big box retailers including Office Depot, Big Lots, and Marshall’s, working his way up to Store Manager at various locations around Kentucky & Indiana. In 2021 James finally followed his dreams by helping to open the London Vendors Market.   Calling upon all his years of experience to provide vendors and customers with the best selling and shopping experience around.

Shannon Melton

Shannon’s career has taken him through multiple large retail chains around Kentucky, where he headed up marketing and store management in such companies as Big Lots, Office Depot and Harley Davidson. During this time he has also co-owned various businesses with his wife Shelia Melton and then a number of years ago left the corporate ladder completely to start his own online business selling products nationwide. Then in 2021 he saw a need for a new vendors market and worked with his wife and their friends the Setsers to make it happen. Now Shannon brings his wealth of retail, marketing, and business knowledge to London, KY to provide vendors and customers with the highest quality customer service around.

Holly Setser

Holly began her career in the mortgage sector before moving on to banking, she spent over 16 years in the financial sector, before she decided to begin her business career by owning and operating a boutique shop in London Kentucky for many years. She now brings that wealth of experience to London Vendors Market to help foster the community and establish a great working relationship with the vendors as well as the customers.

Shelia Melton

Shelia started her career at Walmart, before moving on to start a successful beauty salon for 25+ years now. After owning and operating her business for many successful seasons. She now brings all her wealth of knowledge in customer and business relations to the London Vendors Market. She is committed to growing the relationships with both vendors and customers and providing an excellent experience to all.
